““Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.””

What this verse means

“Be still, and know that I am God” calls us to stop our anxious striving and rest in the truth that God is in control. It is a summons to trust, spoken in the middle of a psalm about chaos and upheaval.
